Been a listener since 73. Love the station. One thought: Other than Bob Marley, KTYD has very little music by the great black artists of the 60's and 70's. Marvin Gaye, Aretha Franklin, Motown, Bill Withers, etc. Some of the greatest music of that generation came from black artists. While I enjoy th veja mais ...

Alost seven years later, I am hailing now from Cottage Grove, Oregon. I've been away from where I used to be in Oxnard where KTYD was my #1 choice! All others had their formats of difference, either too many commercials or format layout. Glad to hear you again!

This is simply the best SoCal, heck, the best station since the 60's. Great Sunday Night line up. The ghosts of KMET, and KDAY must be pleased!

This radio station is the best since KMET. I listen to it whenever I am in the area. I used to be able to get it in Hermosa Beach but a tallish building is now blocking. it. I hope you continue your format. I heard 'Darkness Darkness' by The Youngbloods and 'Fire' by Arthur Brown on Sunday and they were one after the other; very cool.
