I heard Atlantic 252 when I visited Ireland in 1994 and 1996! This station was the one that rocked Europe!

Very true, part of the problem was the sheer difference in sound quality between FM and LW, a stereo signal on the extra carrier wave made such a difference, but in its day Atlantic reached a bigger audience 47Million, and had better energy in its presenters, they made the station what it was

it should have never been sold it was a great station there is still a need to rival radio 1 it was never a patch on atlantic being it to fm there should be a online revival not just a tribute
