KYAH, is opperating with out local support due to the old station owners stealing it's funds. The reason it is not playing sports is because the sports brodcaster can not get fuel money or phone monies from the school or it's supporters. KYAH would air the games free, however the problem is the one veja mais ... who was doing the games was paying out of his own pocket. I know, because I was brodcasting the games on my own time.

Additionally, Delta Rabbits sponsorships from the local business allowed KNAK to provide the airplay for the games and pay the sportscasters. KYAH feels differently about that for some reason. Yep, music you can dance to would be better.

The former owners of KNAK used to pay the Delta HS sportscasters as contractors with payment for travel and their talents. Unfortunately, KYAH manages the station differently. I hope they can get it together and air the games.

Merry Christmas from 120 miles south in Cedar City! Does KNAK feature a Tradio/Tradeo call-in for buy-sell-trade in the Delta area? I am looking for bulk (tons of) storage wheat. I can't find a KNAK webpage to connect with the station. Thanks. Roy Tryon 435-586-9277

KNAK is first on the dial in Delta, UT. (They are the only station in town, duh.) They have been serving central UT with news, talk, and sports for over 10 years. (Actually, they have been around much longer than 10 years. I was the voice of this station 30 years ago when the IPP power plant was be veja mais ... ing built. We played country back then which is much better than that rightwing nutjob talk junk today.

KYAH hopes to stream the Delta sports next year if the public can get the school to help in paying the fuel and phone of the anouncer. This has been on his dime... I know because I donate my time to be there when he calls in to put him on air in our studio.

Streema is difficult to download, and once accomplished I'm not able to listen to KNAK.
