the dial; always with the more modern audio processing, and audio equipment. They were sold out wall-to-wall with advertising because they had such a wonderful sales crew, led by a genuine leader, Frank Childs, General Manager. Frank died of complications from a stroke in the 80s, and we miss him very much. Frank's son, Andy, was also on the air at KOZA. Andy and his wife still live in Dallas. Andy recently survived serious heart failure.
Hope, if you were ever in Odessa back in the 60s or 70s, that you heard the station then. It was a fine station, full of camaraderie and good spirit. KOZA, we miss you :-)
You might want to listen to KOZA right now. It's a Mexican station originally from Odessa, TX, United States.
