Ross Brittan has just made the most cold, insensitive , stupid comment about 4 people being murdered after Christmas and luck to be living were the rent is cheaper than N.Y.I have this station on all the time and mostly enjoy the light attitude and music. I find this to be the most tasteless comment and if this what management endorses then I will have to switch ASAP..............

I use to listen lite-f m up to now they only play Christmas music, so I switch to WCBS and I think I will never go back

Just love waking up @ 6AM to When the Red Red Robbin etc... Really makes my day. Lost the station on my rinky dink alarm clock radio and had to search for it for days because of poor reception. Please keep the Wonderful Wake Up going.

You need to stop playing the same old music over and over again on the radio. I used to listen to your station all the time, but now? No way. There are so many fantastic oldies that it is plain dumb to keep playing the same old ones over and over again. C'mon, just do it!

If I could, I would give this new version a -*. The quaility of the music played as oldies has diminished to the point of songs I do not recognize. I listened to this station as a reflection of the times of the 50's - 70's music and culture. For the most part, this station offers unadulturated, meaningless garbage. The 80's music was the start of the decline in the music industry, and has continued its spiral into nothingness. Time to shut it off for good.

I so miss Dan Taylor's soothing voice when I wake up in the morning. Scott is way into himself although I do like his Sunday morning show (not for him) but for the tunes we finally get to hear tunes that WCBS hasn't given airplay to in years. When is the last time they played SWEET CHERRY WINE or SURFING SAFARI or HE'S A REBEL or FOOLISH LITTLE GIRL or CHAPEL OF LOVE or ONLY THE LONELY. Give more airplay to the 60's and if you have to play the 70's, then more Fleetwood Mac

There no better voice than Dan Taylor. Wish we could hear more of it....great announcing, but miss all the cleverness. Fav DJ for years. Miss him in the mornings:((((

I have to agree with the other listeners. I cannot stand Scott Shannon. His voice goes right through me. Patti laughs continuously at NOTHING. I'm sick of everyone ranking on Mr. G. IMHO, he's the ONLY one on the "great" show (btw, there is NOTHING great about it) who has a brain. And why is Scott always announcing what show he's made it to??? Is he that shocked that WCBS has kept him around this long? I never turn on that station in the morning since he's been on when he isn't talking. Most people who listen to WCBS do it for the music. If I wanted some pompous jackass pontificating about everything, I'd listen to talk radio!! I also don't know why he insists on reading the latest newspaper stories to all the listeners.....it's just another annoying thing about Scott Shannon. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE BRING BACK DAN TAYLOR IN THAT TIME SLOT AND PUT SCOTT ON AT 1AM WHEN MOST PEOPLE ARE SLEEPING, OR GET RID OF HIM ALL TOGETHER.
