Pure BS from a NYC cop who stated that all calls generated through the "911 System" has to be acted upon - especially the situation where the subject was basically sitting alone in a park. There is widespread discretion there - He could easily dispose of the call to the dispatcher by making it an "UNNECESSARY CALL". And if there is a second or third call, he can make it a "CHRONIC CALL", whereby ending all calls appearing at that location. From a 20 year NYCPD patrol veteran.

I love listening to my old friends from WOR, however, your output is so low that all I get is static all over my house on my Bose radios. I think your transmitter needs more power. I have to sit in my car to listen to John Gambling and others and I can't sit in my car all day. Please try to get more Kilowatts or what ever it is that makes your broadcasts go farther. For now I have to stay with WOR and I really can't stand the guys that took John's place in the morning. Len should stick to sports and that Todd should go back to Florida !!! Sorry for venting to you.
